Welcome to Oxford Christian School!
OCS is a ministry of Oxford Christian Fellowship and is a non-accredited home school program. Our vision is to be a covering and support base for families who have chosen home schooling as the means to educate their children.
Our approach to school administration can be summed up as “minimal intervention.” We rely on the parent’s sense of responsibility for their school.
Each home is an independent school. The parents, with God’s help, are the school staff. They are free to institute school policies that are in line with their personal convictions.
Parents are free to tailor curriculum to their preferences. The only guideline OCS requires concerning curriculum is that the subjects being taught provide standard academic instruction for each grade level.
Our desire is to be a blessing not a curse. However, there are laws that all of us must obey to legally home school. OCS does reserve the right to dismiss any family from the school for not complying with our guidelines.
